The Account Manager for Supplies is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers across the region, ensuring strong commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term account development. This role focuses on driving sales of printing media, labels, ribbons, tags, wristbands, and other consumables, working closely with channel partners and internal cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined portfolio of accounts, ensuring consistent growth in revenue, margin, and overall performance for the Supplies business.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and sales forecasts aligned with business objectives.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the consumables portfolio, increasing product adoption and customer retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and end customers to drive business development.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and commercial negotiations when required.
- Collaborate with pricing, supply chain, marketing, and technical teams to ensure competitive proposals and excellent customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and documentation.
- Address customer escalations and coordinate internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, pricing guidelines, and commercial processes.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology, printing, industrial products, or consumables.
- Proven experience in account management, with a strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Solid understanding of printing solutions, labeling supplies, and related technologies (preferred).
- Ability to analyze sales KPIs, market trends, and financial metrics.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with channel partners, distributors, or value-added resellers.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics for consumables.
