Spark Programme | Swiss Re
Spark Asset Management & Finance is a Bratislava-based internship designed to develop emerging talent across the Asset Management and Finance industry.
This unique experience offers university students the opportunity to participate in an exclusive two-semester (up to 20 hours per week) internship programme, working within a dedicated Asset Management or Finance business team and contributing to meaningful business outcomes.
Interns gain hands-on experience while participating in curated sessions and trainings led by leaders across departments directly and indirectly supporting Asset Management and Finance operations.
The programme reflects Swiss Re's forward-thinking approach to Asset Management and Finance, embedding AI-enabled and data-driven practices into everyday business decision-making.
To conclude the 9-month programme, each intern will have the opportunity to compete for a permanent role within our organization (subject to availability at the given time). Career opportunities and additional awards are granted to top performers.
About You
- University student from 3rd to 5th year of studies as of September 2026 having a basic understanding in the field of Asset Management or Finance
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail
- Proactive, collaborative, and enthusiastic about technology and innovation
- Professional demeanour and respect for diverse expertise
- Creative, self-driven, flexible, and open to new challenges
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong team player
Nice to have
- Interest in financial markets
- Experience working with Microsoft Office tools
