CVS Health has a dynamic opportunity for an investigations professional to join our dedicated Asset Protection Team focusing on Pharmacy Internal Drug Diversion investigations. In this Manager, Rx Investigations role, you would drive internal investigations in the pharmacy through a centralized/remote process. This position requires the ability to work as a collaborative member in a team environment, coordinating investigative activities (proactive and reactive) in partnership with corporate staff, pharmacy staff and field AP staff. This role would assist in coordinating the overall vision and strategy of the organization to protect our patients, colleagues and communities from the abuse and misuse of controlled substances.
This position is remote and will require travel as needed in the Mid-Atlantic US.
Responsibilities include:
- Remotely performing full protocol pharmacy diversion investigations utilizing advanced tools and partnership with analytic and field teams
- Analyzing pharmacy data to surface diversion concerns for further review
- Acting as the primary point of contact for pharmacy diversion concerns and validate if action is needed
- Becoming a trusted advisor to cross-functional business partners amongst field and Customer Support partners for all items related to internal pharmacy diversion
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related internal investigative work experience
- Skilled in Exception Based Reporting tools, pharmacy inventory accounting and excel
- Ability to relate and understand investigative processes in order to successfully identify and contribute to the resolution of internal drug diversion cases
- Ability to analyze data points and drug reconciliations to initiate and investigate store/NDC combinations for root cause of loss
- Ability to manage and maintain a case load of 15+ items in different stages of investigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmacy and controlled substance regulatory requirements
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners and provide updates to status of investigations in confidential and sensitive manner
Education
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $159,120.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
