Summary

The Barrel & Bushel assistant manager will be responsible for ensuring maximum guest and employee satisfaction and outlet profitability through the successful planning, organizing, execution, and leadership of the restaurant's operations and administration.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Supporting and managing the operation while working closely with the general manager of Barrel & Bushel

• Ensuring effective associate hiring, training, development, promotion and continuous reinforcement of service expectations

• Developing and implementing creative strategies for revenue enhancement and cost containment

• Developing and implementing the budget, marketing plans and objectives. Managing effectively within those approved plans

• Oversight of Barrel & Bushel Express

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager required

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of beer, specifically the different styles, tastes, and histories.

• Candidates should possess proven leadership skills

• Refined verbal and written communication skills

• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including a working knowledge of point of sale systems
