Growing together.We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as Associate Director, Compliance & Ethics. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's global Conflicts of Interest (COI) compliance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating COI risks across business units and geographies, and serve as a subject matter expert for global COI compliance initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive global COI compliance framework, ensuring alignment with enterprise compliance programs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Strategize and implement structured processes for COI risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across all business units, supporting global expansion and integration
- Maintain and update policies and procedures related to COI compliance, ensuring responsiveness to evolving regulatory requirements and best practices in all relevant jurisdictions
- Serve as a subject matter expert on COI compliance, staying informed on relevant laws and regulations impacting COI globally, and recommending necessary adjustments to the program
- Conduct periodic audits and reviews of COI disclosures and processes to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement
- Lead training and awareness initiatives to promote a culture of integrity and transparency regarding COI across the organization
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations as a COI compliance expert, providing documentation, analysis, and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, HR, finance, operations, etc.) to ensure effective COI risk management and compliance integration
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on COI compliance status, risk trends, and remediation actions
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting COI and proactively recommend program enhancements
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (CA / MBA / Law or equivalent)
- 10+ years of Substantial experience in managing and/or creating compliance frameworks, with a strong focus on Conflicts of Interest and global compliance programs
- Proven excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies
- Proven solid written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to express complex information and processes clearly, concisely, and compellingly
- Proven effective communication, interpersonal, and team management skills
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience working in a global or multi-jurisdictional compliance environment
