SUMMARY:
As a Culinary Banquets Supervisor at our distinguished resort, you will play a vital role in orchestrating exceptional banquet dining experiences. You will oversee the culinary execution of banquet events, ensuring seamless kitchen operations, timely service, and impeccable food quality and presentation. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising banquet kitchen staff, coordinating with event planners and culinary leadership, and maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and efficiency. Your expertise in large-scale food preparation, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests during weddings, conferences, and special occasions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise and coordinate all culinary aspects of banquet events, ensuring timely and high-quality food preparation and service.
- Lead and support banquet kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and stewards, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Banquets team to plan menus that meet event specifications, guest preferences, and dietary needs.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste across all banquet offerings.
- Manage inventory and ordering for banquet operations, minimizing waste and controlling costs.
- Uphold and enforce kitchen safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide training and mentorship to banquet culinary staff, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
The colleague is accountable for all duties listed and any additional responsibilities assigned by leadership.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma required.
- Culinary education or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory culinary role, ideally within banquet or high-volume event settings in hospitality.
- Demonstrated ability to lead kitchen teams and deliver exceptional food for large-scale events.
- Experience in staff development and training.
- Prior hotel or resort experience strongly preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
