About the Role
As a Business Analytics Specialist within our Performance , Analytics & Delivery Claims Team , you'll develop sophisticated analytics to enrich our Analytic Data Model (ADM) and enable next-level claims analytics. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you'll be at the forefront of implementing data-driven solutions that create market differentiation throughout our value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enhance claims analytics by analyzing existing data and collecting stakeholder requirements to define analytical deliverables, frameworks, and roadmaps
- Develop statistical and predictive models employing techniques such as regression analysis, cluster analysis, and optimization to generate quantifiable insights on business choices
- Annotate data to provide reliable, high-quality training datasets for Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence initiatives
- Conduct industry research to provide valuable insights helping stakeholders make better business decisions
- Drive innovation by finding creative solutions to data challenges and exploring ways to leverage our data to improve Claims Handling functions

The Performance , Analytics & Delivery Claims Team is a forward-thinking team focused on developing analytics capabilities that drive better claims outcomes and support our thought leadership aspirations. We work collaboratively across regions and departments, constantly seeking new tools and technologies to enhance our solutions and create market differentiation in every part of the value chain.
About You
You're a data-driven professional with strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills. You thrive in autonomous environments where you can translate complex ideas into practical solutions. Your ability to understand the needs of our insureds, claims staff, and internal stakeholders enables you to deliver effective, innovative solutions.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Engineering, Computer Science, Decision Science, Business Management, or other quantitative sciences
- Experience in business analytics with a focus on data extraction, preparation, transformation, data pipeline, and MLOps
- Proficiency in data science programming languages such as Python and SQL
- Knowledge in one or more data science domains like machine learning, predictive modeling, and NLP
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at the executive level
These are additional nice to haves
- Experience working with unstructured data
- Previous insurance experience, particularly in Claims
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English
- Experience collaborating across regions and with colleagues from different departments
- Ability to think and act strategically while maintaining attention to detail
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
