Claims Administration Manager
Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To manage the claims administration and invoicing functions within assigned office(s) including compliance with company standards and industry best practices; to meet company goals and ensure consistent delivery of quality services; and provide claims support to the US Adjusting Team. Reporting to the Regional Director - Aviation Americas
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Setting up case files on the company claims management and invoicing systems.
Entering Market Data on company claims management and invoicing systems.
Liaising with Adjusters and Finance Team to ensure reports have been issued on case files to set Fee Reserves, and the required Market information is available, to enable invoices to be issued.
Responsible for monitoring monthly WIP reports and invoicing of case files to meet company goals and business targets.
Entering recoverable expenses on case files.
Liaising with other Aviation offices and third-party agents / correspondents to ensure their invoices are obtained and processed when they support us on a claim.
Provide intercompany invoices to other Aviation offices when we assist them on their cases.
Monitor Fee Reserves against WIP and liaise with Adjusting team to ensure Fee Reserves are adequate before an invoice is issued.
Maintain invoicing records and create monthly reports for the Aviation Finance Team.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting Adjusters with drafting reports, reviewing / analyzing costs on spreadsheets.
Saving incoming correspondence and documentation to electronic claim files.
Creating and updating claims Bordereaus
Creating and updating local Claims Handling Procedures (CHPs)
Preparing Powerpoint presentations.
Organizing / assisting with Marketing activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supports the organization's quality program(s).
Occasional travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as required.
Experience
Eight (8) years supervisory / management experience including prior experience of claims and / or finance administration; knowledge / experience of Airline or MRO operations is desirable.
Languages
Bilingual: English / Spanish both verbal and written.
