At our 405-acre luxury resort, every guest interaction matters-and so does their safety. As Director of Guest Services & Safety, you'll be the driving force behind a seamless arrival experience and a secure, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues alike. This is a leadership role that blends hospitality excellence with operational precision, ensuring that every detail-from valet parking to emergency preparedness-is handled with care and confidence.
What You'll Do
- Lead & Inspire: Oversee Bell Services, Security, Telecommunications (PBX), and Valet Parking/Transportation teams, ensuring exceptional service and safety standards.
- Shape the Guest Journey: From valet to luggage delivery, create a smooth, memorable arrival experience that reflects our commitment to luxury hospitality.
- Champion Safety & Security: Develop and implement security procedures, manage risk and loss prevention, and coordinate emergency response and crisis management training.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Manage scheduling, payroll, and budgets for the Security department while maintaining compliance with fire safety, access control, and emergency preparedness programs.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Serve as liaison with local law enforcement and hotel security leaders, and provide clear, empathetic communication to guests and colleagues.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years in security or law enforcement and 5+ years in supervisory roles (hospitality experience preferred).
- Leadership: A persuasive, articulate leader with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to handle challenging situations with tact and empathy.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; Opera knowledge is a plus.
- Certifications: First Aid, CPR, and AED preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Service-oriented, energetic, solutions-driven, and passionate about creating safe, welcoming environments.
