Key Account Executive Distributors 6A

Purpose of the role
The Distributors Sales Executive is responsible for:
- Create short- and long-term plans with a clear strategic vision, aligned to common Diageo-customer objectives
- Establish a strong collaborative relation with customers to build a balanced partnership with right focus and relevance.
- Understand Key channels (Off & On & Home), category, and competition dynamics to lead right interventions to drive the best performance.
Key Outputs/Results
- Achieve volume Sell out/Sell in, NSV y Cash, Execution standards (brilliant execution), distribution, DOH and Share targets
- Lead training and capability development agendas with customers
- Maintain absolute external focus.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Functional Responsibilities
- Lead the successful implementation of all Activity Map plans and Account Management negotiations, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze key business data - including sales, margins, inventory levels, pricing, competitive landscape, and market trends - to generate actionable insights and propose short-term solutions that drive performance improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate and implement continuous improvements across key sales drivers, including Out-of-Stocks, Share of Shelf, Share of Displays, Pricing Strategies, and alignment with overall business priorities.
- Chip in to the in-month sales forecasting process (S&OE), with weekly Sell In and Sell Out updates.
Financial Responsibilities
- Responsibly handle Trade Investment Tool (TI Tool) to accurately register, track, and control all activities driven with clients, ensuring delivery on-time and in-full (OTIF).
- Ensure budgets are delivered according to plan in conjunction with Commercial Marketing and Finance teams.
- Manage own Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expenses.
- Lead Sell Out and Sell In performance (volume and NSV - top-line performance), as well as Gross Margin (%) at the account level.
- Own measurement and evaluation processes (Pre- and Post-M&E) to ensure optimal investment allocation, improving ROI while delivering value for consumers, shoppers, and customers.
Leadership Responsibility
- The role reports to the Distributors KAM.
- The role does not have direct reports but requires strong influencing capabilities and the ability to build positive relationships with distributor partners at all organizational levels (management and sales force), external agencies, and Diageo cross-functional teams.
- Build strong and sustainable customer relationships, positioning Diageo as the supplier of choice through a complete, value-driven approach.
- Company Policies & Routines: Ensure full compliance with Diageo's commercial routines, capability programs, certifications, trainings, and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Communication skills, ability to negotiate internally and externally
- Analytical, strategic planning, and negotiation skills
- Skilled in business presentation
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse market conditions and demographic environments.
- Proactive, self-motivated, tenacious with commercial drive and commercial drive & curiosity.
- Confirmed resilience when navigating highly sophisticated organizational and market environments
