This role is responsible for the management, analysis, implementation, and support of Oracle Financial systems to meet the strategic needs of the business. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for Zebra’s Financial modules, centered around the Oracle ERP, and will manage integrations with other critical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical and functional configuration for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 to enhance system usability and supportability.
- Configure and support core financial modules, including General Ledger (GL) with its Chart of Accounts, Multi-Org structure, Cross-Validation, and Security Rules, as well as EPM, and Intercompany processes.
- Implement and support additional financial applications such as GL, EPM, Product Intercompany, AGIS, etc.
- Analyze, design, and implement robust integration solutions that align with approved functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop innovative solutions to resolve complex, cross-functional business problems, considering the impact on day-to-day operations.
- Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, and the creation of functional specifications.
- Coordinate and oversee testing cycles, including analyzing and researching bugs and working with business and technical teams to ensure resolution.
- Facilitate activities related to system enhancements, bug fixes, patches, and major upgrades.
- Act as a liaison with Oracle Support by creating and managing service requests.
- Collaborate closely with the PMO, QA, and Operations teams to ensure successful delivery of information technology applications.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financial modules.
- A strong and comprehensive understanding of core accounting principles and financial processes is required.
- Proven experience with 3 to 5 full project lifecycle implementations of Oracle Financials.
- Deep expertise in key GL processes, including multi-org and multi-currency processing, inter-company transactions, allocations, reconciliation, and consolidations.
- Strong knowledge of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Expert-level experience with the following Oracle modules: GL (Chart of Accounts, Multi-Org), EPM, AGIS, and Intercompany Processes.
- Familiarity with supply chain modules that integrate with Finance, such as Order Management (OM) and Inventory.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and execute effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability for deliverables with a strong focus on achieving goals.
- Highly collaborative with strong intellectual curiosity and a forward-thinking mindset.
- Excellent oral, written, and listening skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Agile and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, challenging environment and work flexibly with team members across different time zones.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- An advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience with other financial modules is highly desirable
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials modules is a plus.
