Because we are looking for an Event Planning Manager!

What does the ROLE entail?

• Primary focus is on planning and executing successful events
• Market will be corporate and social events, as well as events affiliated with conventions in house
• Acts as a liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff
• Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with Event Sales Manager, property departments and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout the pre-event, event and post-event phases of property events
• Detail all Food and Beverage, meeting room sets and diagrams
• Responsible for group billing details and final review
• The Event Planning Managers are also the on-site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events

Your EXPERIENCE:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Unafraid of event related tasks, projects, and responsibilities
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
• A fun and energized person
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
• Two years of hotel event planning experience or equivalent preferred
