What You'll Do

• Lead primary sales efforts for Banquet Food & Beverage, including menu planning and agenda development
• Conduct detailed event planning, from initial concept through on-site execution
• Review contracts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client needs
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing guidance before, during, and after each event
• Facilitate effective communication with all hotel departments to deliver seamless service
• Host site tours and represent the hotel with professionalism and confidence
• Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships
• Participate in - and at times lead - internal event meetings and team collaborations
• Partner closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff to ensure flawless operations
• Uphold the polished, guest-focused environment that defines Seaview

Qualifications

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning, completed Event Management trainee program or comparable experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel and/or food & beverage experience preferred
• Previous selling experience
• Experience working and meeting a quota
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally & in writing, with public and other Team Members
• Understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
• Have comprehensive knowledge of all operational departments within the hotel; guest services, reservations, housekeeping, audio visual, banquets, accounting, restaurants and engineering
• Knowledge of meeting room set-ups and capabilities, sleeping room configurations and types
