SummaryThe Opportunity
Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our Digital team. The AI Enablement & Community Support Intern will support Hyatt's enterprise AI initiatives by serving as a frontline resource for corporate and field colleagues using Hyatt-approved AI tools, including ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, and piloting additional LLMs for feasibility and understanding unique value. This role combines hands-on operational support with AI enablement, communications, and colleague engagement, helping scale responsible AI adoption across the organization.
The intern will assist with managing colleague inquiries via email and Microsoft Teams, troubleshooting access and usage questions, developing persona-based prompt libraries, and supporting internal communications and updates related to Hyatt's AI tools. Through meaningful line-of-business work, cross-functional exposure, and a defined internship impact project, the role provides a practical introduction to digital transformation within a global hospitality organization while delivering tangible value to Hyatt and its colleagues. You will be part of a team that is passionate about our purpose, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills, and building connections across the organization with colleagues, customers, and guests.
As part of Hyatt's Corporate Internship Program, this role delivers a hands-on, skills-based experience designed to accelerate learning, growth, and professional confidence. Interns are embedded within the business, partnering closely with experienced leaders on meaningful, real-world projects that support Hyatt's strategic priorities. The program includes intentional mentorship, regular feedback, and opportunities to engage across functions-offering a behind-the-scenes look at how a global hospitality company operates. Interns also have the opportunity to connect with Hyatt's purpose through participation in World of Care initiatives.

The Role
The Digital Summer Intern is an enthusiastic individual who is looking for an opportunity to develop strategy, marketing, and operational skills within a globally recognized hotel company. Responsibilities include the following:
- Serve as a first-line support resource for colleagues using Hyatt's enterprise AI tools
- Respond to general inquiries via shared inbox and Teams channels
- Assist with access troubleshooting, permissions, and basic usage questions
- Support administrative workflows related to AI enablement, documentation, and knowledge management
- Develop and maintain persona-based prompt libraries tailored to corporate and field use cases (e.g., hotel operations, marketing, revenue, HR, leadership)
- Support content updates, training materials, SOPs, etc., to the AI hub on the company intranet
- Track common questions, feedback, and issues to help inform improvements and future enablement efforts
- Assist with reporting, summaries, and presentations related to AI adoption and engagement
This role is ideal for students who are curious, eager to learn, and interested in gaining real-world experience in a corporate hospitality environment.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (business, marketing, analytics, hospitality, information systems, or related fields preferred)
- Strong interest in AI, digital tools, and how technology enables people and organizations
- Comfortable learning new tools and explaining concepts to others
- Comfort working with data, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint), data visualization tools, or analytics platforms preferred
- Experience with various LLMs: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, etc.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn are required

The hourly rate for this position is $21.74 to $22.00. The final pay rate offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
