The Inventory Operations Senior Manager leads the special projects side of the Front Store Inventory Operations portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and deliveringstrategic business solutionsthat transform operations, maximize sales, and maintain in-stock performance during peak periods and across top-performing stores. The position directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency through strategic planning, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration.
In this role, the Senior Manager is accountable to ensure all strategic initiative store groups achieve and maintain TSLs of 95%. Strategic initiatives include, but are not limited to, Extreme Stores, New Store Formats, Micro-Events, Acquisitions & File Buys, and Flagship location support (Hawaii and major metro markets).
Additional responsibilities include Day-to Day operational support and regular collaboration with Store Operations, RSID, Inventory, Master Data Management, IT.
The ideal candidate possesses expert knowledge of Blue Yonder and has a robust background with technical systems, analytics and data mining with a proven ability to use data to inform strategic decisions and optimize business outcomes. In this role, the Senior Manager is responsible for leading a team to successfully meet their project and self-development goals and for developing talent to be ready for advancement on their desired career paths when the opportunities come along.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and support of store and field processes, systems, and applications in unique markets and store formats
- Manage cross-functional projects and programs, ensuring effective coordination
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify system issues and provide solutions for inventory challenges
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize business outcomes
- Define requirements for system enhancements, oversee testing, and coordinate deployments
- Develop and maintain financial and operational reporting for initiatives
- Guide and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and feedback
- Oversee daily inventory support activities, including second-level Help Desk support and Inventory Operations Mailbox
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures and training materials
- Ensure efficient execution of inventory management rollouts and initiatives
- Maintain data sources, create reporting tools, and execute ad hoc reporting
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with inventory management operations, technical systems, analytics and data mining
- Direct team leadership and development experience
- Project management experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access) and SQL
- Travel required

- Experience with Blue Yonder
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Skilled in advanced analytics, enabling actionable insights and evidence-based strategies
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Effective collaborator and influencer across all levels of management
- Independent decision-maker with sound judgment

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
