- Use Tosca (model‑based automation, Vision AI, API testing) to support enterprise‑scale regression and integration testing where applicable.
- Use Playwright to implement robust, code‑based UI automation, focusing on speed, reliability, and maintainability.
- Leverage AI‑assisted / “vibe coding” approaches using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor to accelerate development and iteration of Playwright automation scripts, while ensuring code quality, readability, and long‑term maintainability.
- Apply the right automation approach for the use case, balancing low‑code and code‑based strategies.
API, Integration & End‑to‑End Testing
- Validate Salesforce integrations using API testing (REST/SOAP), middleware, and downstream enterprise systems.
- Ensure end‑to‑end test coverage across Salesforce, web applications, and integrated platforms.
CI/CD, Release Quality & Agile Collaboration
- Integrate Tosca or Playwright automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Flosum, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Enable unattended and parallel execution with clear, actionable reporting and dashboards.
- Establish and enforce quality gates for Salesforce and web application releases.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives with a quality‑first mindset.
Test Data, Defect Management & Stakeholder Communication
- Drive Salesforce‑specific test data strategies, including reusable and dynamic test data.
- Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality risk assessments.
- Communicate quality insights and release readiness clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
Enablement & Best Practices
- Coach teams on Salesforce QA best practices, automation standards, and scalable test design.
- Promote consistency, reusability, and maintainability across test assets and frameworks.
