Aetna, CVS Health is looking for top sales leadership talent! We have an exciting opportunity available for highly motivated individual to lead a core internal direct to consumer channel sales team as a Lead Director of Field Sales programs. The position will lead Managers that are responsible for their teams retaining existing members and acquiring new prospects with available plan offerings to help meet their specific healthcare needs. In addition, the role is responsible for recruitment, onboarding, training, developing, and managing of the staff and activities to achieve superior business performance and sales goals.
To be successful the role is accountable for talent development, employee engagement, sales volume, retention, and quality of service. This role is ideal for candidates that are energetic, empathetic, and looking to become part of a growing business segment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a sales organization of managers and field representatives with a high level of focus on selling Aetna's Medicare products.
- Oversee and lead daily operations including, but not limited to scheduling, communication, alignment, program and product training, and incentives.
- Responsible for executing field operations to scale and grow business across all product lines.
- Design, build, and/or optimize program by executing field operations with virtual/in person events, provider marketing, seminars, and other community grass roots efforts that are designed to achieve ROI and a great member experience.
- Ensure operating models are deployed for managers and agents to support overall field operations model.
- Manage and oversee team budgets and ensure cost per acquisition and retention metrics are in line with plan.
- Manage and develop career paths for top talent within organization, with emphasis on leadership development and performance management.
- Maximize effectiveness and efficiency of the sales leadership and programs (i.e. sales volume) leveraging new tactics and enhancing agent productivity, among other levers, to achieve target sales volume.
- Partner with other functions (ex. operations, training, quality) to ensure that all colleagues are well trained and prepared in order for effective and efficient operations of the team.
- Deploy daily operating models for leaders and front line staff to ensure effective sales operations, high quality program submissions, and achievement of business results.
- Develop enhanced sales techniques and drives sales through robust knowledge and experience and make improvements to the model.
- Travel up to 40%
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in sales leadership, ideally within Medicare Sales or Medicare-related programs.
- 5-7 years of experience in Medicare, including state and federal regulations governing Medicare field agent programs.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners.
- This role requires up to 40% travel.
- Must have reliable transportation with active insurance coverage.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
- A Life & Health insurance license is preferred; if not already held, it must be obtained within 60 days of starting employment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-7 years of managing individual contributors and managers.
- Demonstrated successful experience in developing internal sales capabilities for health insurance companies.
- Experience managing Tele-sales & Field agents
- Demonstrated successful experience in developing high performing sales organization with a strong culture of performance and operational rigor.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Licenses And Certifications
- Insurance/Licensed Life & Health Insurance Agent (GA) is desired

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$105,000.00 - $231,132.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
