The Oak Street Health and RubiconMD team is seeking a Lead Director to lead programs targeted at improving the Specialty care experience for patients and care teams and reducing specialty-care-related medical costs related. The Lead Director will lead a team accountable for achieving specific objectives and key results, and will report directly to the Executive Director, Specialty Care Solutions and Head of RubiconMD.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be extremely detail-oriented, comfortable taking ownership & following up, be self-directed, and enjoy working with a team in a fast-paced environment, while bringing their experience and innovative ideas.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic problem solving, opportunity analyses & new idea generation for initiatives within the Specialty Care team at Oak Street, with emphasis on the integration and performance of RubiconMD and novel virtual specialty care solutions
- Manage a team working towards clear objectives and key results, including but not limited to the integration and performance of RubiconMD within the Oak Street Health care model
- Own end-to-end strategic initiatives within the Specialty Care umbrella, from idea generation to Product building to field implementation, with support from said team members
- Drive cross-functional stakeholder engagement across the Oak Street Health, CVS Health, and RubiconMD organizations in the areas of Population Health, Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Patient Experience
- Build deep relationships and advocacy with Oak Street Health field leadership (business & clinical) through education, road-shows, clinic visits, and other creative approaches
- Partner with Epic product owners on development, design, functionality, and reporting needs as it relates to Specialty Care
- As a member of the RubiconMD extended leadership team representing Oak Street Health, build relationships and partner within the RubiconMD organization.
- Illicit feedback / input on Specialty Care initiatives from various field cohorts; partner with the RubiconMD and Oak Street Health Population Health teams to iterate on workflows accordingly
- Establish communication cadence/content for regional leaders regarding awareness of, and engagement with, Specialty Care initiatives and establishing a shared commitment to performance
- Other duties as assigned, including business strategy and implementation support for the RubiconMD business lead
Required Qualifications
- Track record of effectively solving difficult problems
- Orientation toward analytical problem solving
- Practical, results-oriented mindset with unimpeachable integrity, accountability, and coachability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
- 5-7 years experience at a health care consulting firm or similar analytical environment
- Strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills
- AI and technological fluency demonstrated by incorporation in day-to-day work
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in operations, strategy, population health, growth or clinical domains with a tech-enabled healthcare business
Education
- Bachelor degree required
- Advance degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, etc) preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
