About the Role
As a Legal & Compliance Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of digital innovation, owning strategic initiatives that enhance our capabilities through data analytics and AI/technology solutions. You'll bridge the gap between legal and compliance professionals and technical teams, ensuring solutions meet business needs while adhering to governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Delivery & Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of assigned projects or workstreams within strategic L&C Analytics & Innovation initiatives, including data analytics and AI-related use cases
- Project Management: Drive project planning, execution, and delivery, including defining milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria
- Implementation Leadership: Coordinate pilots, testing, user acceptance, and rollout of analytics- and AI-enabled use cases and data-driven solutions
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between non-technical Legal and Compliance professionals and technical teams, translating business needs into clear requirements
- Change Management: Support adoption activities, including stakeholder communication, training materials, and usage tracking
- Executive Communication: Prepare concise status updates, steering materials, and decision papers for senior stakeholders
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure delivered solutions meet applicable governance, data protection, and compliance requirements
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, data analysts, IT partners, and group-wide initiatives
- AI Innovation: Identify, explore, and prototype AI/technology use cases to automate repetitive tasks, improve information processing, and enhance efficiency.
- Prompt Engineering & Custom GPT Configuration: Design, test, and iterate prompts; configure and maintain custom GPTs/LLM-based assistants (or similar)
About the Team
This is an exciting opportunity to join our global Legal & Compliance Analytics & Innovation team, based in Zürich and Bratislava. The team is responsible for shaping the Legal & Compliance digital strategy and improving the use of data, analytics, AI, and technology for the benefit of Legal and Compliance across the Swiss Re Group, while driving insights for management and key stakeholders. Our services include business analysis, data analytics, data governance, and implementing innovative AI- and technology-enabled use cases. The development of analytics and innovation capabilities is a key strategic direction for Legal and Compliance.
About You
You're a forward-thinking professional who thrives at the intersection of legal & compliance, technology, and project delivery. You have excellent communication skills that allow you to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. Your ability to drive projects from conception to completion, combined with your collaborative approach and attention to detail, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Proven experience in driving large projects or workstreams involving digital, data or analytics solutions
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Solid understanding of data, analytics, or digital solution delivery (e.g., business applications, dashboards, or AI-enabled solutions)
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing delivery timelines and dependencies
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior and diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in English is required
These are additional nice to haves:
- A high-level understanding of Legal and Compliance or related fields (risk management, audit)
- Experience with AI implementation, prompt engineering, and configuring custom GPTs/LLM-based assistants (or similar)
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries
- Change management certification or experience
- Agile project management experience
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 3,300 EUR and 5,400 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
