As a Manager - Quality Engineering with CVS Health, you will participate on a product team of 6-10 people (engineers, UX designers, and product manager) and work with the team to build high-quality, usable products to customers and stakeholders. You will help educate both business and technology personnel on the testing process and test products at various stages of development and delivery. You will also maintain a user-centered and business-as-priority approach in testing perspective and practice.
Responsibilities
- Manage quality engineering through detailed planning of products, resources, and skillset mapping
- Identify and implement frameworks and tools for automation of testing leveraging emerging/AI capabilities
- Implementation of automation framework to democratize QC checks
- Contribute to IT product/roadmap planning from a quality engineering persepctive
- Resource management, including setting goals, performing reviews, providing feedback/coaching, participating in recruitment and selection of new resources, and ensuring teams adhere to the highest degree of integrity and Code of Conduct standards.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of total information technology QA/QE experience, including leadership and development management experience in core development and delivery areas
- 7+ years of experience with enterprise software testing in a large-scale distributed software design environment using technologies such as Gherkins, Rest Assure, Java, Apache POI
- 5+ years of experience in handling customer expectations and relationships
- 3+ years people management and mentoring full-time employees' work and career development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agentic AI/MCP (model context protocol)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or similar
- 1 year of professional work experience required for every year of college degree not completed, in addition to required years of experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
