Description
SummaryJob Purpose:
Responsible for leading the marketing initiatives, programming and select brand partnerships within Thompson Dallas Marketing Department; to maximize engagement and reach to achieve annual revenue goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing
- Work with Sales and Revenue departments closely in order to understand pain-points of the business and areas for growth and opportunity within the rooms and F&B business. Identify revenue needs, then collaborate with the Brand Creative teams to create engaging content and original promotional campaigns, in turn, helping increase the likelihood of efficient conversion rates
• Oversee the strategy and execution of Thompson Dalla's paid digital efforts (PPC, SEO, Paid Social Media, Google Hotel Ads, etc.) into new markets with a focus on, but not limited to, EMEA and APAC regions with assistance from The Lifestyle Group, Hyatt's corporate office.
o Including cross platform awareness and mobile opportunities.
o Understand Google Ads, Meta, SEM, SEO and social media advertising etc.
o Manage channels to maximize ROI
o In general - have strong understanding of digital media and advertising + bring new ideas to the table to drive business forward
• Work with field marketing and digital agency of record and partner with them in driving these efforts on an executional level with strategic oversight.
• Ensure paid targeting segments are consistently being refreshed to reach new eyes globally in way that properly represents the Thompson brand .
• Set goals and track performance on a weekly and monthly basis to maintain a healthy rate of growth across our key KPIs including but not limited to: website traffic, impressions, leads and corresponding revenue
- Ability to analyze KPI to discover best practices and shift efforts accordingly.
- Manage email and promotional calendars with support from Marketing Coordinator for all hotel specific email communications.
- Work with GEM and Operations to support and monitor online review and respond to guest feedback to ensure excellent reputation management.
- Where necessary feed into the structure and content of the website when relating to revenue driving initiatives.
Partnerships & Barter Agreements
- Discover new & nurture existing relationships with local and global partners that introduce the hotel or F&B outlets to new audiences. Build a cultural calendar of the year with consistent programming to reach your properties KPI's (Valentines Day, Fashion Week, Music Festivals, Restaurant Week etc.)
- Oversee the partnership agreement process for partnerships and manage deliverable terms.
- Field and analyze ROI and value for new events and partnership requests and evaluate annual partnerships results to adjust YoY to maximize continued ROI.
Leadership and Project Management
- Communicate and educate all hotel and brand initiatives and announcements to the property.
- Generate comprehensive recaps for key marketing initiatives to be shared with the corporate office, property, and ownership teams.
- Lead and manage on property PR agencies for the hotel awards, brand awareness, influencer programs and any F&B initiatives.
- Offline Marketing: Have a good understand of physical collateral and it's needs and suggest where this might be needed
- Suggest any printed collateral updates or marketing such as in-room flyers, postcards, F&B add-ons etc.
- Assist with one-off event collateral.
- Lead lifestyle, F&B and room photoshoots / video shoots in support and approval needed from the Art Director of The Lifestyle Group, Hyatt
Qualifications
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- 4+ years' Marketing experience.
- Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Computer proficient.
- Act with integrity & confidence; our reputation is paramount to our success.
- Ability to manage change effectively.
- Ability to deliver high and consistent service standards.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, which may include weekends and holidays .
Physical Requirements
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 15 lbs. Without assistance.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Remain in stationary position for extended periods of time.
