Job Summary
A Modeling and Simulation Engineer is needed to support program office activities related to modeling and simulation (M&S). The role involves working with technical experts to support a variety of simulation assets, including digital system representations, virtual twins, digital test beds, systems engineering and test tools, threat simulations, atmospheric representations, scene generators, and data visualization systems. The position supports technical and programmatic M&S efforts, helping coordinate analysis, testing, and evaluation activities while collaborating with government and industry subject matter experts.

Travel: Negligible (approximately 5–10% as required)
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret clearance is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Requirements
3+ years of relevant Modeling and Simulation (M&S) experience, particularly in defense engineering or programmatic support
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Dependable, flexible, and proactive with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
Demonstrated forward-thinking and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a Modeling and Simulation strategy and roadmap
Maintain and track M&S resources and catalogs
Coordinate and document Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) of M&S assets
Manage and track action items from M&S Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities
Participate in external M&S activities and digital test bed operations, including planning, scheduling, readiness reviews, accreditation processes, data runs, analysis, and reporting
Support digital engineering initiatives within the program office
Provide monthly summaries of M&S activities and issues to program leadership
Preferred Skills and Experience
5+ years of relevant M&S experience, particularly in defense engineering or programmatic support
Hands-on experience with modeling and simulation tools
Experience with radar, electronic warfare, or combat systems
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a related field is required.
