POSITION SUMMARY
The People Strategy Generalist serves as a trusted first point of contact for team members and leaders on day‑to‑day needs, with a focus on team relations support, team member experience, people data accuracy, and coordination across People Strategy processes. This role works closely with all areas of People Strategy to support consistent practices, maintain reliable and compliant team member data, and contribute to a positive team member experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS
- Respond to team member and leader inquiries by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and available resources; triage concerns and escalate appropriately.
- Support team relations needs by assisting with team member complaints and concerns, including intake, scheduling, documentation, and information gathering related to the resolution process.
- Assist with workers' compensation matters by coordinating communications, gathering documentation, and tracking case progression.
- Support unemployment claim processes by responding to agency inquiries, providing required documentation, and coordinating timely submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate team member information in HR systems by completing timely updates, preparing recurring and ad‑hoc reports, and conducting data checks that support compliance, documentation standards.
- Update and maintain organizational charts in coordination with People Strategy Operations and Business Operations.
- Process approved team member changes such as promotions, transfers, and compensation updates in accordance with established workflows and guidelines.
- Manage the People Strategy inbox, ensuring timely responses and accurate routing.
- Maintain team member files in accordance with organizational documentation and retention standards.
- Prepare and distribute the weekly movement report with accuracy and consistency.
- Initiate leave of absence (LOA) claims with external providers, serving as a liaison between team members, leaders, and vendors and maintain documentation and status tracking.
- Support People Strategy initiatives, including performance cycles, policy updates and project coordination.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of SOPs, templates, and process documentation to improve clarity, consistency, and team effectiveness.
- Support compliance activities such as audits, data integrity reviews, and adherence to established procedures.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the team member experience.
- All other duties as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Displays problem‑solving skills: applies solutions within established procedures; identifies issues quickly; collaborates effectively; and notifies leaders promptly of risks or concerns.
- Demonstrated ability to support sensitive team member matters, including participation in investigations and handling confidential information.
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high accuracy.
- Proven ability to build trust, support leaders and team members, and collaborate effectively across People Strategy and the business.
- Working knowledge of HR practices, team relations processes, and foundational employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort navigating HR systems, reports, and data tools.
- HR certification (such as SHRM‑CP or PHR) preferred.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 - 5+ years of HR experience, including exposure to team relations and generalist responsibilities.
WORK ENVIORMENT
- Bedrock is an in-person, five-day-a-week workplace. All team members are expected to work onsite Monday through Friday during standard business hours, unless otherwise specified by their role or designated shift.
- Some roles may have flexibility to work remotely on Fridays, based on the nature of the work and business needs. This flexibility is granted at the discretion of the Company and may be adjusted at any time.
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; occasional movement between buildings; ability to lift up to 15 lbs. Occasionally.
