POSITION SUMMARY:

Perform basic tasks of organizing, sorting, cleaning, drying, and palletizing totes and other store equipment returned from delivery. Included within functions will be operation of tote washing machine.

QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES):

• Ability to read, write and count accurately.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule or overtime as required, to include shift rotation.
• Ability to work safely with and around operating mechanical systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate simple machinery accordingly.
• Ability to work within a team atmosphere.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Process and organize store returned equipment to designated area (to be cleaned)
• Preparation of totes to run through the tote washer efficiently and effectively.
• Operate simple start/stop process of the tote washer to ensure processing of totes.
• Collapse and consolidate totes as they exit the tote washer.
• Prepare palletized stacks of clean totes and return ROCO'S and tote lids so they are readily available for use in the operation.
• Powered equipment license preferred, not necessary.
• Ability to move empty and full pallets utilizing a hand jack.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Physical demands:
  • Frequently lift 20 to 45 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift greater than 45 to 75 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping.
  • Constant walking, standing, and pulling.
  • Working indoors and/or outdoors for the duration of the shift
• Work environment: Warehouse - indoor and outdoor environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to perform relevant associated tasks.
  • Noise program certification required (provided by Vero Beach CVS Health Distribution Center) per recommended.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$16.00 - $26.21

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
