SummaryHyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Procurement Specialist to join our Americas Operational Procurement team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Operations, Brands, Finance, Sustainability, and Avendra, helping drive value, efficiency, and consistency across Hyatt's portfolio in the Americas. Qualifications
Responsibilities include overall oversight of purchasing and sourcing activities in support of hotel operations and colleague needs. This includes developing and executing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring continuity of supply. Additional responsibilities include providing direct support to hotels and internal stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify sustainable, scalable, and cost-effective sourcing solutions, and participating in special initiatives and projects that drive efficiency, quality, and value across the organization.
Key aspects of the role include:
• Developing and executing purchasing and sourcing strategies
• Supporting hotels and internal colleagues with procurement guidance and solutions
• Managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and supply continuity
• Providing oversight of inventory planning to support hotel operations and service delivery
• Partnering with cross-functional teams on sustainability, cost efficiency, and scalability initiatives
• Ensuring purchased goods meet quality standards and specifications
• Contributing to special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Experience Required:
5+ years of experience in procurement or a leadership role within hospitality, with demonstrated experience supporting hotel operations.
Experience Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Experience with function-specific systems and tools, including BirchStreet, Microsoft applications, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

The salary range for this position is $ 86,000 - 103,200.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
