Description
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the evolution of our client-facing APIs and support integration strategies.You will work closely with development teams to enhance API architecture, optimize AWS-hosted services, and introduce efficient management practices. Responsibilities
- Specify API requirements that align with overall project objectives
- Work alongside product and engineering teams to upgrade API frameworks
- Evaluate existing API setups and outline migration steps toward REST
- Lead efforts to separate APIs from the current product framework
- Develop strategies for API commercialization and outline usage guidelines
- Verify readiness of AWS-based multi-tenant API deployments
- Push for retirement of legacy connections including ODBC
- Enhance integration features available to core application components
- Promote effective API management tools for monitoring and oversight
- Supervise preparation of technical guides for API consumption
- Collaborate with engineering on infrastructure planning and implementation of IaC
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in product management focusing on APIs and integration work
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing Amazon Web Services environments
- Hands-on familiarity with designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience handling Message Brokers (MQ) such as Kafka
- Solid grasp of microservice architecture principles
- Proficiency applying Scrum processes
- Strong analytical mindset and adept at problem solving
- Advanced English fluency (CEFR C1 - Advanced)
Nice to have
- Skill in configuring API Gateway
- Background with load balancing technologies like AWS ALB
- Experience using observability solutions for distributed architectures
- Capability to resolve intricate issues in distributed systems
- Knowledge of AWS CDK for automating infrastructure setup
