Description
Title: Project Engineer
We are currently seeking highly talented individuals who take pride in their work, function exceptionally well in team environments, and contribute to the overall success of the company. Over the past 20 years, we have been delivering exceptional solutions for a wide variety of infrastructure projects to clients in Texas.
General Responsibilities include:
Project Engineer - Drainage
- Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) Analysis and prepare drainage reports.
- Investigate stormwater and floodplain problems, and formulate and evaluate alternative solutions
- Design storm water conveyance systems, impact mitigation, and flood control measures.
- Evaluate and rehabilitate existing drainage systems.
- Prepare construction documents, including reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Project Engineer – Roadway and Bridge
- Design/Manage roadway and bridge projects, assist in right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, and construction.
- Perform and review roadway, traffic, and bridge designs.
- Prepare construction documents, including reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Possession of a valid Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate issued by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred, if not, a commitment to actively pursue PE licensure through appropriate training and exams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and/or OpenRoads.
