Description
Responsibilities- Lead and manage mining mega projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies, evaluating project viability and risks.
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and budgeting.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and legal departments.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and progress reports.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on mining or heavy industrial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology for project management.
