At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of our customer, we are seeking senior-level Property Managers with experience in supporting (DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols).
Job Description
- Assist with the birthing and redistribution of Capital and Non-Capital Military Equipment (ME) through the collection of Key Supporting Documents (KSD), completion of MCSC MCA documentation, and submittal of Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) Service Requests (SRs).
- Provide logistics support to Property Custodians (PC) and Responsible Individuals (RIs) to assist with the inventory and reconciliation of Custodian Assets Reports (CARs) and Consolidated Memorandum of Record (CMRs). Activities may include consolidating data, physical assessment of components, coordinating onsite visits where inventory assessment occurs, or analyzing deltas that arose between events. The contractor shall perform quarterly inventory activities, including resolution and preparation actions, for PC approval.
- Assist in customer property transfer process to include Government Furnished Property (GFP) transfers, temporary loans to external organizations, and bailments to U.S. vendors in good standing.
- Support property accountability and record management for PO acquisition-related property to maintain compliance with DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives.
- Review and update property accountability records to reflect the current status, location, and condition of assets, including those possessed by external organizations, until authorized disposition of the property occurs.
- Assist Property Custodians (PC) and Responsible Individuals (RI) with the inventory and reconciliation of Custodian Assets Reports (CAR) and Consolidated Memorandum of Record (CMR).
- Assist PM TCE in record-keeping to support USMC Audit activities and reporting.
- Prepare for certification (quarterly), in accordance with the timelines and procedures prescribed by MCSC for equipment held on inventory in GCSS-MC and DPAS database systems.
- Create and update property transfer metrics by pulling data from the MCA Property Transfer Package Status SharePoint Site.
- Develop property transfer packages to include GFP, Loans, Bailments, GFP MILSTRIP, and DoDAAC Requests.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred. Desired minimum of four (4) years' experience in USMC supply or property accountability using Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC). The ideal candidate will be familiar with FIAR methodology.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Command Access Card (CAC)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills strongly desired
