Description
This role enables strategic decision-making across purchasing and finance by transforming operational, financial, and vendor data into actionable insights. The position designs and executes analytical frameworks that inform procurement strategy, optimize vendor performance, and support financial planning. This role will provide impact using advanced analytics, systems integration, and reporting automation.- Delivers and designs strategic insights and inform decision making by leveraging purchasing, financial, and operational data to inform sourcing decisions, optimize vendor performance, and drive process improvements through advanced analytics and visualization tools
- Ensures data integrity, process documentation and continuity across systems by partnering with key stakeholders. Lead efforts to maintain, enhance, and optimize data pipelines while resolving quality issues to support reliable business analytics
- Documents system design decisions for purchasing and finance platforms to improve data accessibility and usability, enabling reporting solutions that support leadership planning and operational priorities.
- Leads projects to develop system enhancements and proactively troubleshoot data flow issues to minimize errors and ensure reliable data. Champion automation of manual workflows to enhance operational efficiency, reduce redundancy, and enable faster, insight-driven actions across purchasing, finance, and business operations.
- Supports operational activities for Finance and Group Purchasing teams by delivering enhanced reporting solutions and enabling data-driven insights that streamline day-to-day activities and strengthen decision-making
- Influences cross-functional data strategy across procurement, finance, and enterprise operations, while serving as a subject matter expert for key purchasing and finance data initiatives.
- Facilitates Plan workgroup to develop and share best practices and development of innovative approaches. Interacts with internal and Plan stakeholders, building productive relationships.

Qualifications:
Education
- Required Bachelor's Degree in Data & Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics or Business Administration; or equivalent work experience
- Preferred Master's Degree Data & Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics or Business Administration; or equivalent work experience
- Required 5+ Years in enterprise reporting, analytics, systems, project management or dashboard initiatives
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and present clear, actionable insights.
- Skilled in storytelling and executive-level presentation development.
- Proven track record of applying analytics and systems expertise to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Trusted to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Collaborative team player and strategic partner to Business and Finance teams.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage multiple initiatives under tight timeframes with urgency.
- Advanced working knowledge of enterprise platforms including CRM, procure-to-order systems, ERPs, with a solid understanding of database structures to lead system enhancements.
- Experience in procurement-related functions such as supply chain, sourcing, or vendor management.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and metrics, with the ability to apply data-driven insights to support procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization and transformation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Alteryx).
- Proven ability to work independently, own strategic projects, and deliver results
