Your work will directly shape how senior leaders prioritize actions and how Hyatt drives revenue, profitability, and operational performance across the business.

You enjoy working with others, are results-driven, and are looking for a variety of opportunities to develop personally and professionally.
The Role
As a Quantitative Analyst, supporting Insights & Decision Science for the Hotel Performance Hub (HPH), you will transform complex, often ambiguous data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making and performance improvement across Hyatt's global portfolio.
Reporting to the Director, Insight Generation, this role sits at the intersection of analytics and business judgment. You will focus on diagnosing performance, evaluating the impact of key initiatives, and translating findings into executive-ready narratives that influence how leaders prioritize actions.
Rather than working from a fixed roadmap, you will engage on high-impact questions as they emerge-requiring strong problem framing, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to determine what to analyze and how to measure success.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses of hotel and brand-level performance to identify patterns, variances, and root causes
• Structure ambiguous business problems and determine the appropriate analytical approach, including how success should be measured
• Evaluate the impact of initiatives and interventions, accounting for real-world complexity such as lagged effects, overlapping actions, and inconsistent adoption
• Synthesize large, complex datasets into clear, concise, and compelling narratives tailored for executive audiences
• Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations that drive revenue, profitability, and operational performance
• Work hands-on with data, partnering with Data & Analytics, Finance, and Operations teams as needed, while maintaining ownership of analysis end-to-end
• Support the development and refinement of performance tracking frameworks, dashboards, and KPI definitions
• Conduct "forensic" analyses on underperforming hotels or portfolios and communicate findings with clear business implications
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to validate insights and ensure they inform decision-making processes
• Contribute to hypothesis development and testing approaches for new initiatives and evolving business questions
Qualifications
Experience Required:
• 4-6 years of experience in business analytics, strategy, revenue management, or performance analysis; hospitality experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to translate data into business insights and influence decisions
• Experience working with large, complex datasets to generate practical, actionable outcomes
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related field
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot); familiarity with Python/R is a plus but not required
Experience Preferred:
• Familiarity with hospitality performance metrics (e.g., RevPAR, ADR, occupancy) and enterprise data environments
• Experience operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities
• Strong analytical curiosity, structured thinking, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings clearly to non-technical and executive audiences
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and independently driving work forward without predefined answers
The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all-encompassing. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
We welcome you:
Research shows that individuals tend to apply to jobs only if they meet all the listed job qualifications. Unsure if you check every box, but feeling inspired to enhance your career? Apply. We'd love to consider your unique experiences and how you could make Hyatt even better.
The salary range for this position is $117,000 -$140,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus.
