As a Recreation Supervisor at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa, you'll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences while supporting the daily operations of the pool, children's activities, and Camp Hyatt programs. This highly visible role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading teams, staying active, and delivering exceptional service in a fun, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
As a Recreation Supervisor, you'll help guide the department's day-to-day functions and set the tone for an outstanding guest experience. Your responsibilities include:
- Opening and/or closing the recreation areas to ensure a smooth start and finish to each day.
- Leading the team by ensuring all attendants arrive on time, in full uniform, and ready for their shift.
- Creating and managing the daily staff rotation, ensuring proper coverage, timely breaks, and consistent service throughout the day.
- Ensuring all recreation areas-including the pool, beach, and activity zones-are clean, stocked, safe, and guest-ready at all times.
- Posting room charges for recreation retail, activities, and Camp Hyatt.
- Addressing and resolving guest concerns with professionalism and documenting issues in the We Care system.
- Promoting and enforcing safety procedures to maintain a secure environment for both guests and employees.
- Monitoring inventory and assisting with supply orders as needed.
- Leading the pre-shift meeting and providing ongoing coaching, support, and oversight to recreation attendants.
- Overseeing Camp Hyatt scheduling and availability throughout the day.
- Creating a warm, fun, and welcoming environment where team members and guests feel valued and supported.
- Ensuring all staff maintain a positive, polished, and service-oriented "YES" attitude.

Qualifications
- Experience in customer service (hospitality or recreation preferred)
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Recreation or activity programming experience a plus
- Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
