Description
United's Digital Technology team is comprised of many talented individuals all working together with cutting-edge technology to build the best airline in the history of aviation. Our team designs, develops and maintains massively scaling technology solutions brought to life with innovative architectures, data analytics, and digital solutions.
Job overview and responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business and technology stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with product owners, business partners, vendors, end users, architects, developers, EQE, and scrum masters to design, plan and deliver PSS Catalog products
- Produce project documentation (e.g., business requirements, user stories, strategic roadmaps, etc.)
- Lead projects/meetings with business and technology partners to gather and document needs and requirements
- Work with architecture teams to develop and document solution plan
- Collaborate with United and vendor delivery teams to ensure full understanding of requirements and delivery of desired scope
- Ensure business change management readiness
- Assist in business process redesign as needed
Qualifications
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- Business or relevant field preferred
- 4+ years of experience
- Communication Skills- The ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, capable of successful formal and informal communication, speaks and writes clearly and understandably at the right level
- Teamwork - Involves working well in a collaborative setting, supporting work team by volunteering for and completing assignments, acting as a positive team member by contributing to discussions, developing and maintaining both formal and informal relationships enterprise-wide, defines success in terms of the entire team through mentoring and knowledge transfer
- Technical Expertise - Involves demonstrating a commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in current technical/functional area, keeping up to date on technical developments, staying informed as to industry practices, knowing how to apply relevant technical processes to appropriate business needs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- Airline Revenue Management and Pricing expertise
- Partnership - Acts as valued partner to the business, develops relationships with internal and external partners
- Patience - Includes listening and vetting before acting. Is tolerant with people and processes, tries to understand the people and the data before making judgments and acting, sensitive to due process and proper approaches
- Task Management - Delivers quality work on time with attention to detail, translates planning into action by following applicable established procedures or methodologies, proactively monitors and controls task status by collecting and analyzing task data to anticipate and address barriers, appropriately communicates and resolves or escalates any problems that arise
The base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $129,924.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
