Key Requirements

• We seek an exceptional scholar and leader with established expertise in aerospace engineering. Areas of emphasis include, but are not limited to: space systems, materials and structures, computation, sensing, communications, space-based computing and networking, fluid dynamics, propulsion and sustainable aviation, autonomy and AI. Aerospace systems of interest range from spacecraft and satellites to commercial transportation, EVTOLS, drones, and novel flight systems. Applicants must have a demonstrated record of outstanding research accomplishments, excellent teaching credentials, and translation of fundamental research to real-world impact through collaborations with government agencies and industry. Candidates should also have demonstrated leadership capabilities for guiding the development and expansion of Aerospace Engineering programs and faculty within the school.
