Senior Level Active Directory Infrastructure Engineer

Take charge of designing, managing, and optimizing our hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environment, with direct collaboration alongside the Infrastructure & Identity leadership team. In this advanced, hands-on position, you'll have the opportunity to steer projects from their inception through to successful execution, all while driving increased security and ongoing improvements across vital directory services. As part of a global team, you'll engage with colleagues from around the world, fostering technical excellence and sparking innovation on every initiative you lead.

What are my accountabilities?

• Design, implement, and manage a secure, resilient hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environment across multiple forests.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and optimisation across AD replication, trusts, Group Policy, DNS, Kerberos, LDAP, and federation services.
• Plan and deliver Active Directory migrations and domain consolidations, including legacy domain decommissioning.
• Define and enforce directory security standards, policies, and best practices, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Provide senior technical leadership, including on‑call support, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with broader IT teams.

About you

• Extensive experience (5+ years) designing and supporting enterprise‑scale Active Directory and hybrid identity environments.
• Strong expertise in on-premises active directory, Entra ID, identity security, and directory service best practices.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives independently from design through to delivery.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Relevant Microsoft identity certifications are highly regarded.
