SummaryThe Opportunity
Hyatt seeks an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Colleague Experience Communications, to join our Global Internal Communications team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Human Resources, Learning & Development, Digital, AI governance leaders, and senior enterprise stakeholders to shape how colleagues understand and adopt change across Hyatt. You will be part of a team that is passionate about our purpose, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills, and building connections across the organization with colleagues, customers, and guests.
You will play a critical role in enabling Hyatt's continued evolution - helping colleagues navigate new ways of working, emerging technologies including responsible AI use, and evolving HR systems and practices. This role is instrumental in ensuring enterprise priorities are clearly understood and meaningfully experienced across our global organization.

The Role
This role leads the strategy and execution of colleague experience communications from the center - ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across regions and brands while enabling local relevance. You will lead a small team and partner closely with enterprise leaders to drive adoption of new ways of working and evolving systems.
Responsibilities include:
• Design and execute communication strategies that support enterprise transformation, including agile ways of working, responsible AI adoption, and evolving HR practices and systems
• Translate enterprise priorities into clear expectations and practical guidance that help colleagues understand what is changing, why it matters, and how their work is impacted
• Partner with HR, Digital, and senior enterprise leaders to operationalize change through aligned messaging, tools, and experiences
• Sequence and prioritize initiatives to ensure colleagues are not overwhelmed and messaging remains focused and cohesive
• Equip leaders with clear narratives and communication resources that enable them to guide their teams through change
• Develop stories, playbooks, and adoption frameworks that reinforce enterprise priorities and strengthen organizational clarity
• Define and measure success based on colleague understanding and adoption outcomes - not solely communication reach
• Use feedback and data insights to continuously refine strategies and improve the colleague experience
• Lead and develop a team responsible for operationalizing communications across channels and initiatives
Qualifications
Experience Required:
• 8-10 years of experience in internal communications, colleague experience, change enablement, or related roles
• Strong experience translating complex initiatives into clear, practical guidance for colleagues through creative communication
• Familiarity with agile ways of working and comfort supporting adoption of new tools and technologies, including AI
• Proven ability to partner with and influence across functions
• Strong leadership, storytelling, and simplification skills
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field
Computer Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using intranet and colleague engagement platforms to understand reach, engagement, and trends
• Basic design, video, or visual storytelling skills preferred
Additional Comments and Requirements
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple internal clients, meeting deadlines, and be accommodating to urgent projects
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills and the ability to act with confidence while dealing with various levels and functions
• Ability to travel globally as required (approximately 10-25%)
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc.
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
