The People Partner Senior Manager plays a pivotal People Team role, leading a team of HR professionals that provide guidance to leaders and employees and deliver people services based on knowledge of people programs and offerings, local talent, policies and regulatory requirements. The People Partner Senior Manager plays an instrumental role in ensuring effective human resources practices while maintaining and improving our company culture and employee engagement, representing the voice of employees for the geographies/locations they support. This role requires an individual who is people- centric and an effective leader, skilled in creating a positive and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead team of People Partners that advise managers and support employees on talent actions, organizational changes, talent mobility and development, motivating team members and making decisions aligned to our talent philosophy.
- Collaborate with Talent Strategy Partners on talent initiatives including providing local expertise and supporting implementation of organization redesign & restructuring activities, talent and succession planning. Enable team members with talent strategy insights.
- Represent the voice of employees, providing geo-based insights, talent trends and people sentiment to inform talent strategy prioritization and decision making.
- Responsible for employee relations consultancy and compliance including addressing employee concerns, conducting internal investigations and counseling managers on effective solutions to address performance and workplace issues. Collaborate with regional People Relations & Compliance lead to leverage best practices and Legal to escalate issues as needed.
- Enable leaders to drive people management efforts including providing consultancy on talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and actions plans to strengthen culture and improve employee engagement.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COE) leaders to ensure the broader People Team operates as a strategic, forward-thinking function and seamlessly executes key talent processes and initiatives.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the delivery of employee services including advancing direct access (self-service) and automation.
- Ensure people compliance programs, policies/procedures, and reporting are established and implemented locally to ensure adherence to regulations, labor laws, and other applicable workforce compliance matters.
- Mentor and guide team members and colleagues, sharing industry best-practices and knowledge, fostering a highly collaborative learning environment.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years in a human resources role
- Expertise and c omprehensive wide-ranging experience across strategic HR areas including employee relations, talent management, organization design, training, labor law and compliance, compensation, and benefits.
- Management experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, drive performance, and creating a positive work environment.
- Consultation Skills: Exceptional communicator that is skilled at building and maintaining trusting relationships and successfully engaging with all levels of employees and leaders. Recognized as an expert on people practices. Able to inspire, influence and challenge as needed.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business strategy with ability to align talent plans in support of achieving business objectives.
- Creative Problem Solver: Able to assess highly complex issues and sensitive situations, creatively approach challenges and leverage strong business judgement to propose solutions that meet multiple stakeholders’ needs.
- Results Oriented and Proactive: Strong initiative, agility, and organizational ability with excellent follow-through and strong prioritization, delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Conflict Resolution: Demonstrated persuasion and strong conflict resolution skills to positively address and resolve workplace issues.
- Analytical:. Skilled at analyzing workforce data, identify insights and trends and develop strategic talent recommendations.
