Primary Responsibilities:

• Define and implement a comprehensive quality strategy for modernizing legacy applications
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile platforms using tools like Playwright, Selenium, and Appium
• Develop and execute performance, security, and scalability tests for cloud-based applications
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to ensure continuous quality
• Collaborate with architects and developers to validate design decisions and ensure testability of new architecture
• Drive AI-assisted testing workflows leveraging tools like GitHub Copilot for script generation and defect prediction
• Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and regulatory standards
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex issues and provide actionable insights
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation and agile testing
• Provide detailed quality metrics and dashboards to stakeholders for transparency
• Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and define acceptance criteria for modernization features
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a solid focus on automation.
• Proven experience in testing modern web applications and APIs using frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Appium
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and testing cloud-native applications
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and integration of automated tests
• Solid understanding of performance, security, and accessibility testing
• Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools and ability to leverage generative AI for automation
• Solid programming skills in languages like C# or JavaScript for test automation
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases for data validation
• Proven excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
• Solid communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
• Up-to-date knowledge of agile methodologies and modern testing practices
