- Define and implement a comprehensive quality strategy for modernizing legacy applications
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile platforms using tools like Playwright, Selenium, and Appium
- Develop and execute performance, security, and scalability tests for cloud-based applications
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to ensure continuous quality
- Collaborate with architects and developers to validate design decisions and ensure testability of new architecture
- Drive AI-assisted testing workflows leveraging tools like GitHub Copilot for script generation and defect prediction
- Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and regulatory standards
- Conduct root cause analysis for complex issues and provide actionable insights
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation and agile testing
- Provide detailed quality metrics and dashboards to stakeholders for transparency
- Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and define acceptance criteria for modernization features
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a solid focus on automation.
- Proven experience in testing modern web applications and APIs using frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Appium
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and testing cloud-native applications
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and integration of automated tests
- Solid understanding of performance, security, and accessibility testing
- Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools and ability to leverage generative AI for automation
- Solid programming skills in languages like C# or JavaScript for test automation
- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases for data validation
- Proven excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Solid communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
- Up-to-date knowledge of agile methodologies and modern testing practices
