Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in discussions with the project team to analyze the functional and nonfunctional requirements of the solutions in Agile methodology
• Perform manual/automated testing and log detailed defects in Rally
• Design and develop scalable, flexible, and cross-platform automation tests
• Partner with Development , Devops , Product teams for testing process and features while working in sprints
• Design and develop test approaches, test strategies, and test plans to ensure testing is right sized and risk-based testing principles are applied
• Participate in technical design reviews and be able to identify requirements ambiguity
• Provide QA status reports and escalate issues/risks in a timely manner to management for resolution
• Ongoing continuous improvement to build testing efficiency and effectiveness through the use of innovative QA practices
• Work closely with development and business partners during design and grooming sessions
• Review requirements and provide level of effort for various phases of testing
• Works with less structured, more complex issues
• Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5+ years of experience in hands-on experience in testing, end to end scenario testing with Agile methodologies
• 2+ years of experience working with SQL or any one RDBMS
• 2+ years of experience in Smoke, Functional, Regression, System Testing, Database Testing & UAT Testing
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual and test automation using Cypress, Selenium with Java, cucumber & Protractor etc.
• E2E testing experience testing complex flows including multiple diverse systems and automating them
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins for executing automated tests, application deployment Expertise with testing API's using JSON and XML requests/ responses with backend systems like Postgres or similar DBs
• Proven ability to perform performance testing of API's and UIs and see bottlenecks using Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana etc. and report issues to development team
• Proven fast learner, clear communication and executing the work assigned is critical
