Growing together.We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Engineer with 10-15 years of hands-on experience in Java development, front-end frameworks (especially React), and integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. The Senior Lead Engineer will architect, design, lead, and deliver enterprise-grade web applications while mentoring teams and driving technology strategies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of high-performance Java backend and React front-end solutions
- Solution Architecture: Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure systems that solve complex business problems, with a focus on microservices, API integrations, and cloud-native patterns
- AI Integration: Design and implement cutting-edge AI/ML solutions, collaborating with Data Science teams to integrate predictive models and data-driven features into applications
- Full Stack Development: Drive best practices in Java (Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate), React (Redux, Hooks), RESTful APIs, and state management
- Code Quality: Maintain high standards for code quality, testability, CI/CD, and secure coding practices
- Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor to engineering teams, providing code reviews, best-practice guidance, and career development support
- Stakeholder Interaction: Communicate technical vision, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders, including product managers, architects, and executives
- Project Delivery: Own end-to-end technical delivery, from designing solutions to deployment, monitoring, and support
- DevOps & Cloud: Guide teams in using DevOps automation tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise Java development (Spring Boot, RESTful services, multithreading, performance optimization)
- Hands-on experience with relational/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Solid hands-on experience with React.js and front-end web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3)
- Experience building web applications at scale - performance, security, scalability, and reliability
- Experience with containerization, CI/CD, and cloud-native deployment pipelines
- Demonstrated leadership experience including mentoring and guiding technical teams
- Deep understanding of microservices, design patterns, and distributed systems
- Proven track record of integrating and deploying AI/ML models into production systems
- Proven excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Java, cloud platforms, or AI/ML technologies
- Experience with data pipelines, big data, or real-time streaming (Kafka, Spark)
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards relevant to enterprise applications
- Exposure to other UI frameworks (Angular, Vue), backend languages, or AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Contributions to open source and tech communities
