Growing together.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead and implement robust automation strategies across software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in test automation frameworks, database validation, and test management, with added value from experience in AccelQ and AI-driven testing solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, system, and integration testing
- Implement and manage test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, AccelQ, or similar platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform database validations using SQL or PL/SQL and support data-driven testing
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and REST clients
- Track and manage defects using JIRA, HP Quality Center/ALM, or CA Rally
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in automation best practices and frameworks
- Participate in code reviews, test strategy discussions, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide support during high-impact releases and production validations
- Explore and apply AI-based automation techniques to enhance test coverage and efficiency
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc)
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in automation
- Solid background in database and API testing
- Proven excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Willingness to support rotational and night shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Selenium/AccelQ for model-based test automation
- Experience in testing web-based healthcare domain applications
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven testing tools or frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and version control systems like Git
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
