Growing together.We are seeking a Database Developer to assist in building out database schema, supporting existing databases, monitoring performance, and deploying schema changes between our environments for our development team. You will also be responsible for delivering data to our customers using feeds and reports, identifying SQL performance problems, proposing new solutions, and implementing changes to resolve these issues. In this role, you will work with Developers, Architects, and Business Analysts to develop and resolve current issues, and collaborate with DevOps, Project Managers, and management to provide necessary data for report writers as requested. You will also gain exposure to the many other products and platforms that our team develops and/or uses.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases
 - Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
 - Implement and maintain database security measures
 - Develop and execute database scripts, stored procedures, and functions
 - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
 - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
 - Work within the Agile methodology to deliver high-quality software solutions
 - Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
 
Required Qualifications:
- Certification in SQL or database management
 - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
 - 2+ years of experience in SQL database development
 - 2+ years experience in Data analysis
 - Solid understanding of database design principles and best practices
 - Experience with performance tuning and optimization
 - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams
 - Proven excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 - Solid communication and collaboration skills
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 - Proven highly accountable and self-motivated
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database)
 - Knowledge of NoSQL databases
