Growing together.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team, focusing on supporting the transformation of distribution management within the pharmacy drug manufacturing and distribution industry. This role requires solid cross-functional collaboration, hands-on program execution, and the ability to manage competing priorities across business and IT stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will leverage solid program management in both waterfall and agile delivery skills and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and processes with a primary focus on SAP solutions. You will serve as a key liaison between business and technology, driving program management, roadmap, and delivery in a fast-paced, innovative environment, directly impacting drug distribution operations and customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Solution Implementation & Support:
- Provide program management for the implementation of SAP-driven solutions for multiple SAP modules including Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance (FI), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Advanced Tracking & Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP) and SAP Commerce Cloud as well as several 3rd party SAP solutions such as GIB, ShipERP, Pathlock and Vistex
- Program Delivery Lifecycle Management:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and delivery milestones to ensure transparency and accountability
- Apply best practices to manage the entire product lifecycle, from greenfield product development, MVP, and product launch, through development sprints and ongoing enhancements
- Interface closely with architecture and engineering teams to assess capabilities, evaluate alternatives, and own the definition and prioritization of product releases
- Drive continuous improvement in program and product management practices and disciplines.
- Proactively identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans, fostering a culture of innovation within the team
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain solid, trusted advisor relationships with internal business units, IT teams, and external vendors
- Collaborate actively with stakeholders across business and technology functions to ensure alignment on product vision and secure feature acceptance
- Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, demonstrating excellent relationship management, communication, and active listening skills
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders on scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in technical program management, preferably within the pharmacy dispensing or broader healthcare industry
- Proven experience working extensively with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and implementation partners, demonstrating a deep understanding of ERP capabilities and terminology
- Solid program management and delivery methodology skills, including managing roadmaps, financial and resource management, dependencies, issue and risk management, and overseeing product releases
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and active listening skills, with a proven ability to establish relationships with business and technology partners
- Familiarity with and practical experience in complex software implementations in enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications;
- Experience with or knowledge of SAP MM, SD, FI, and EWM modules
- Experience working in environments that integrate ERP modules into complex business workflows
- Knowledge of workflow, process enhancement, benchmarking, and assessment of enterprise processes
- Experience in greenfield Product Development, Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and Product Launch.
Proficiency with tools such as Rally, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent for backlog and delivery tracking - Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
