Growing together.The Software Engineer role, part of the Solution Test Team, will help develop and implement a fully automated platform for end-to-end solution testing in a purpose-built cloud environment.
Your development experience will contribute to automating the infrastructure and test management systems necessary for comprehensive workflow and real-world scenario testing across our integrated product suites to deliver high quality medical software products.
You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within Canada as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Take direction from the Solution Test Automation Manager and works with them to understand requirements and intended designs
- Develop/code software components for a test management system which includes load generation, data management, test automation execution, and reporting capabilities
- Automate the scalable cloud infrastructure required to support running tests, including load generators and data management tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and continuously improve the systems delivered
- Incorporate the use of AI appropriately to speed efficiency, quality, and outcomes in the SDLC process

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of experience in software development with languages like Python
- 1+ years of experience in developing solutions in GCP or another cloud platform
- 1+ years of experience in developing and implementing RESTful services and APIs
- 1+ years of experience with SDLC and the role of the testing phase
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Terraform
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with healthcare workflows
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with peers and stakeholders
*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
Canada Residents Only: The salary range for Canada residents is $61,400 to $127,500 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
