Our Membership Management Team connects directly with our patients and ensures they are happy with their experience. The Membership Management Team is responsible for delivering excellent, high-touch assistance to our patients everyday.
Patient Relations Specialists (PRSs) are an integral part of our team and help us meet our goal of successfully supporting patients with their healthcare coverage. Your role is to provide support for our patients by helping them navigate through insurance benefits, educate them on their plan, properly advise them on healthcare coverage options and assist with any billing questions. PRSs are key players during the Annual Election Period ensuring that our patients are informed of all their options surrounding Medicare as well as serving as support to the in center Patient Relations Managers and our Insurance Advisor partners.
Core Responsibilities:
Learn the basics of Medicare and use knowledge to assist patients with navigating insurance issues
Educate our existing patients and encourage them to engage with us with their questions regarding their current healthcare coverage
Gain the trust of patients in an effort to properly advise them in their healthcare coverage and connect them to the appropriate resources
Serve as support for our in center Patient Relations Managers
Provide assistance to our Insurance Advisor Partners
Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system, help patients resolve medical bills inside and outside of the company (advocate for the patient)
Provide exceptional customer service
Other duties, as assigned
What are we looking for?
High school diploma
Typically, less than 1 year of relevant experience
A problem-solving orientation and a flexible and positive attitude
An eagerness to help us build and refine our operating model
An understanding of the Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs preferred, but not required
Sales background preferred
A commitment to performing meaningful work that dramatically improves the lives of patients
Community health experience preferred
Proficient PC skills
Outstanding phone demeanor and etiquette
Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (where necessary)

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $31.30
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
