The Role
This role supports commercial strategy initiatives and finance responsibilities designed to drive brand performance through a disciplined, data- and insights-led approach. The role translates commercial intent into actionable initiatives, provides financial performance updates on key performance metrics, and provides data-led recommendations that enable prioritization of initiatives, close performance gaps, and improve financial profitability outcomes across the portfolio.
This role serves as a critical connector between brand strategy, financial performance, and execution-ensuring standards and initiatives are informed by data, supported by financial rigor by budget functions, and embedded from early-stage project design through stabilized operations.
• Support and define commercial standards, performance frameworks, and success metrics that drive consistent brand execution and performance.
• Translate brand intent and commercial strategy into measurable performance expectations across the portfolio.
• Integrates brand intent and commercial guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from early design through stabilized performance, synthesized into executive-ready insights and recommendations.
• Monitor brand and property-level performance trends, identifying commercial, operational, and resourcing gaps that may impact results.
• Partner cross-functionally (Brand, Operations, Revenue, Marketing, Development) to align performance priorities, track progress, and drive accountability.
• Provide financial planning & analysis (FP&A) support, including building reporting capabilities and establishing new financial and performance processes for new or evolving business segments.
• Support the Essentials budget process, including financial assumptions, performance inputs, and post-budget variance analysis.
• Deliver regular financial and performance reporting that supports the commercial strategy framework, confirms top priorities, and surfaces emerging focus areas.
• Develop financial models and ROI analyses to evaluate brand metrics, commercial initiatives, and investment decisions.
• Participate in and provide financial and performance analysis, insights, and recommendations to support ad hoc strategic projects and leadership requests.
• Champion the essentials vision and strategic framework with other Hyatt colleagues within the Corporate and regional offices to ensure full support and alignment.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
• Minimum 5 years of finance and/or data and analytics experience, supporting limited-service brands preferred
• Experience working with multiple brands, most preferred
• Self-starter, strong knowledge across multiple Commercial functions such as Sales, Revenue and Marketing
Experience Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Finance, or Business required
• Efficient with computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)

The salary range for this position is $98,600-$150,000. This role is also eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan.
