Summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe is seeking a Seasonal Food & Beverage Manager to support summer operations at Stillwater Pool during the resort's busy seasonal period. This leadership role will oversee daily poolside food and beverage service, ensuring efficient operations, strong team leadership, and exceptional guest experiences.

The Seasonal Food & Beverage Manager will partner with the Food & Beverage leadership team to manage a high-volume outdoor venue serving resort guests throughout the summer season. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced resort environments and can quickly build rapport with both colleagues and guests.

Position Details

• Seasonal role: May - September
• Full availability required during peak summer season (including weekends and holidays)

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

• Oversee daily food and beverage service operations at Stillwater Pool.
• Ensure prompt, friendly, and attentive service in alignment with Hyatt standards.
• Monitor service flow and assist during high-volume periods.
• Engage with guests to resolve concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the pool area.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and supervise seasonal colleagues including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
• Provide hands-on leadership during peak periods.
• Assist with onboarding and training seasonal colleagues.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Support scheduling, shift coverage, and daily planning.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and equipment oversight.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service standards.
• Maintain daily reporting and communicate updates to leadership.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Recreation, Culinary, and Events teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support poolside programming and special events.

Qualifications

• Previous Food & Beverage leadership experience.
• Ability to lead in a high-volume outdoor environment.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and alcohol service standards.
• Flexible availability.
