Growing together.The Surgical Technician II works in collaboration with the Registered Nurses to provide care of the surgical patient in the OR suite.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepares the instruments for each surgical procedure
- Scrubs in on surgical cases to prepare instruments and assists the surgeon
- Assists in room turn over and are responsible for instrument decontamination
- Contributes to the orientation of new surgical technicians
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to specific age groups
- This position works as needed to provide staffing for the ASC OR
- This position serves the following age groups: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from a surgical technology program which is CAAHEP or ABHES accredited
- BLS
- 3+ years of surgical technician experience
- Demonstrated basic computer skills and experience
- Demonstrated mastery of advanced Surgical Technician skills and extensive knowledge of at least one specialty service
Preferred Qualifications:
- Reside in CST time zone
- Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience
- Experience in multi-specialty services
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
