Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more
Job overview and responsibilities
- Identify and check tools, test equipment and certain commodities In and Out of the tool room
- Carry out tooling inspection prior the tool is issued and after the tool is returned to the tool room
- Complete tool delivering and receiving records to keep the tool accountability as per company procedures
- Interact with Supply Chain team to comply with the stablished tool transfer procedures between tool room and supply chain storage area
- Control tooling shelf life in the tool room to ensure the tool serviceability status is maintained in accordance with company procedures
- Keep tool accountability documentation as required by company procedures
- Comply with all corporate policies and procedures within the organization
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Technical Diploma or equivalent
- Able to document and complete tool accountability records in English
- 3 years of experience working in tool room control in airline industry
- Must be team-oriented person and must be willing to share and seek improvements
- effectively with departmental leadership and other divisions and departments
- Able to process information and put together action plans to correct deficiencies
- Ability to complete all forms and reports required to the handle of tool room activities
- Must possess a valid local driver's license
- Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends, and holiday
- Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
