This position is responsible for acting as the business-facing learning expert on learning strategies that will have a positive impact on key performance indicators.
The Training Program Owner partners with multiple stakeholders at all levels to create, develop, implement and measure learning strategies for specific business units.
This position is responsible for the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the portfolio of training assets as a critical connection between quality colleague and member experiences and successful business outcomes.
**This is a remote role that can be performed anywhere in the US**
Responsibilities
- Manages stakeholder relationships with business partners, subject matter experts, HR partners and training colleagues to ensure continual alignment of priorities and business needs
- Sets and manages realistic and appropriate expectations with all stakeholders to ensure successful achievement of business and training goals
- Conducts or coordinates training needs analysis with stakeholders to determine the gaps and expectations for the accountable populations
- Develops comprehensive, specialized learning strategies, performance-based curriculum(s) and detailed modalities to improve organizational performance and business results
- Leverages a strong business acumen on strategy, financials and business objectives to drive impact and success of training goals for the audience
- Consults with subject matter experts to ensure appropriate materials are provided to designers and content of training is effective
- Designs effective training programs based on business analysis, adult learning principles, and performance expectations
- Evaluates program data to measure effectiveness and implement solutions for performance improvement
- Collaborates with training partners to create required training assets
- Drives program implementation using the Learning Management System and production tools to track project plan and program data
- Develops and implements reporting presentations with key stakeholders at all levels of leadership
- Adheres to learning and design standards and reporting requirements
- Simultaneously manages multiple, technically or relationally complex and/or high-profile projects for enterprise-wide or business specific implementation
- Regularly collaborates with cross-functional Training Program Owners/Training Portfolio Owners to ensure key initiatives are appropriately tracked and integrated
- Provide communication support for the implementation strategy
- Facilitates learning events, including train-the-trainer sessions
- Maintains open communication with training partners throughout project life cycle
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant overall professional experience
- 1 year of front store experience
Preferred
- Experience in application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, performance consulting and educational media
- Ability to think strategically about learning solutions and business challenges
- Strong collaborator with active listening skills
- Experience influencing others at all levels
- Knowledge of the different types of software and modalities used with learning designs
- Ability to adapt and solution problems quickly
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Advanced business acumen with experience using data reporting tools to communicate outcomes
- Training in performance-based instructional design methodologies
- Training in adult learning principles
- Strong performance consultation skills

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
